#10 Leigh Kelson and Michael Dempsey - Mentor Revolution

Leigh Kelson is an international web technologies veteran and Australian cloud computing pioneer.

Leigh has founded and/or co-founded nine companies and had four successful exits. Leigh has been involved in raising over $50 million in funding and successfully completed three public listings on the ASX and ASSOB.

Leigh’s most recent software company founded in 2009 is Enverro which listed on the ASX in Dec 2014. The company has since diversified into mobile consumer applications and during his tenure as CEO successfully completed the acquisition and ASX listing of Chinese mobile dating company Datetix Ltd. (ASX:) DTX.

Michael Dempsey founded and led Ezidebit as CEO from 1999 to 2006 and assumed the role of Chairman of the board in 2008. Michael then assisted Late 2013 the board decided to take Ezidebit to the next level and embarked on a dual track sale process which culminated in a trade sale to Global Payments Limited, a Nasdaq listed fortune 1000 entity for $305M. Michael was closely involved during the entire sale process and was Ezidebit’s largest shareholder.

Leigh and Michael both have an overriding interest in helping businesses achieve growth and profit. And with both gents based on the Gold Coast and they are very interested in supporting entrepreneurs and the growth of the startup eco-system here on the Gold Coast.
